![]() I have to say that I am bit disappointed:ġ. So what monitor and/or docking station do you use? Stick with a QHD resolution monitor until more products are available. At least half the people report issues with screens blanking out, USB ports not working etc. Dell has a dock, the TB16 but looking at reviews it seems very hit and miss. The issue here is the selection is extremely limited still. This would be ideal as I can make good use of the port, and also have a single cable that I can plug into the laptop when I am at my desk which would charge it and connect to all my peripherals. ![]() Bigger selection of monitors, but again I am wasting my only TB3 port for the monitor. Get a monitor with a DP and a USB-C -> DP adapter. Also it means I wouldn't be able to use the TB3 bandwidth for additional things like external storage. Get a monitor with a USB-C port, but there is a very limited selection. So the only port I could use is the USB-C/TB3, which means my options are: It only has HDMI 1.4 which doesn't support 4k (OK it does but only at 30Hz). The problem is that the laptop doesn't have a graphics port that supports this resolution. ![]() Something in the 27"-32" would be good, and with 4k resolution as the scaling works pretty well these days. I am looking to get an external monitor for my XPS 15 (9560).
